Leapfrog launches a brand new 3D Printer: BOLT

Leapfrog 3D Printers launches today a brand new printer, the BOLT.

We create the Bolt to keep pushing the market and expectancy of what a 3D printer should do. The Bolt’s purpose is to bridge the gap between the current state of technology of 3D printers and the future of 3D printers as a whole.

About the Bolt 3D printer

To achieve this goal, Leapfrog 3D Printers gave the Bolt the following solutions and technology:

  • Dual Separated Heads – Dual extrusion allows the user to create completely new parts and solutions by mixing different materials. With two separate heads, printing two materials is clean and simple.
  • Replicator & Mirror Mode – The large print bed allows you to use each head singular. It prints with two heads at the same time, effectively doubling the output of your printer. Everything with the push of a button.
  • Multiplatform Software – Easy to use software on the Bolt which is accessible and usable on any device with Wi-Fi and a browser. This software checks your file, duplicates or mirrors it for you. It also lets you keep an eye on your print with its integrated webcam.
  • Activated HEPA Carbon Filter – Some materials release vapors when printed, which can be harmful. The closed environment of the Bolt is fitted with a filter releasing clean air.

“We are very excited to launch this revolutionary machine. In our vision a 3D printer should be easy to use but also have endless possibilities. The Bolt is one of the most technologically advanced machines available and at the same time it is very reliable and intuitive to operate. So the Bolt brings us closer to our vision and we think will set a new standard for high quality printers” said Sander Adam, CEO Leapfrog 3D Printers.
