Drupa – The largest printing equipment exhibition in the world!

Founded in 1951 the Drupa exhibit is currently the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world. It takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany every 3 years (4 years in the past) and gathers together both exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. The Drupa expo has had steady and rapid growth over the years, easily becoming a reference point for everybody with interests or business in the printing domain.

The last edition took place in 2012 and had more than 160.000 m2 exhibition space, over 314.000 visitors that had the opportunity to visit 1844 exhibitor booths from 52 countries. For Leapfrog 3D printers the last Drupa edition represents an important milestone – it’s the place where we first presented our very first 3D printer model – the Creatr.

Leapfrog showcased its flagship 3D Printer, the Bolt, as well as one of the largest 3D printers in the market, the XceL. Our first 3D Printers, the Xeed and the Creatr were also there.
