Drupa - the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world!
Founded in 1951 the Drupa exhibit is currently the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world. It takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany every 3 years (4 years in the past) and gathers together both exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. The Drupa expo has had a steady and rapid growth over the years, easily becoming a reference point for everybody with interests or business in the printing domain.
The last edition took place in 2012 and had more than 160.000 m2 exhibition space, over 314.000 visitors that had the opportunity to visit 1844 exhibitor booths from 52 countries. For Leapfrog 3D printers the last Drupa edition represents an important milestone – it’s the place where we first unveiled our very first 3D printer model – the Creatr. It’s been a good 4 years filled with research, development and hard work which paid off in technical innovations, new models and satisfaction.
Leapfrog at Drupa 2016
The main themes highlighted in the Drupa exhibit have evolved as time passed by and as the industry developed. For this year the main categories are: print, functional printing, packaging production, multichannel, 3D printing and green printing each of them selected for well targeted groups.
We invite you to visit us again this year at Drupa as we will be celebrating our 4th year on the market. You can find us in HAL 10, Stand A20 between May 31 and June 10 2016. We have a few surprises that we’re sure you’ll enjoy as well! Our colleagues from the sales department will be there to present you our latest technologies and machines - the Bolt and the XceL. They will also be on stage presenting different subjects like the untapped potential 3D printing can provide us in the way we think about current production.
